Hides Fine Foods’ Golden Rice Pudding
- 100g Hides Fine Foods Risotto White Arborio Rice
- 700ml whole milk
- 150ml double cream
- 25g Hides Fine Foods Golden Caster Sugar
- 25g butter
- 50 g Hides Fine Foods Chopped Dried Apricots
- 50g Hides Fine Foods Golden South African Sultanas
- Fresh nutmeg (to serve)
- Add the Hides Fine Foods Risotto White Arborio Rice, milk and cream into a pan and stir.
- Turn the hob to a medium heat and bring to the boil, stirring continuously.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir frequently to stop the rice from clumping together. Add the Chopped Dried Apricots and the Golden South African Sultanas and simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Add the caster sugar and stir until dissolved. Grate over the top some fresh nutmeg. Serve immediately nice and hot. Enjoy!
